| Description | This Ibeda flame arrester is suitable for mounting on a pressure reducing valve. It is not mandatory to use an Ibeda flame arrester for an oxygen reducing valve. In some (especially large companies) the use of an Ibeda flame arrester on oxygen reduction valves is included in the company's company regulations. This Ibeda flame arrester contains a flame-extinguishing element (sintered bronze) and a check valve. A fuse cartridge is not built into this Ibeda flame arrester. The primary connection is a 9/16"r UNF gland with ball cone. The secondary connection is 9/16"r UNF externally with a hollow cone. The maximum allowable pressure for oxygen is 20 bar Capacity at a pre-pressure: from 0.3 0.6 0.9 1.5 2.5 5.0 bar is 2.4 4.2 6.2 10.5 16.2 31.3 Nm3/hour The 9/16" UNF connection is mainly found on American pressure reducing valves. In Europe it is a 1/4"r connection is the standard size. The Ibeda flame arrester meets the requirements of European Standard 730. |
